Aberdare Campus has recently invested in new areas such as Plumbing, Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy. The Hair and Beauty Salons are open to the public, where you can enjoy a wide range of hair and beauty treatment in professional and friendly surroundings. Situated at Llwynypia, the campus is one mile outside Tonypandy in the Rhondda Fawr and is easily accessible from the local train station. The campus has recently invested in a new building initiative, which will increase community engagement and participation along with enhancing its provision for Media & Performing Arts. Coleg Morgannwg offers a range of excellent facilities for you to use during your studies at all our campuses, including workshops with modern-industry-standard equipment. There are also a number of services available to help you while studying.
Complaints procedure

We encourage learners, potential learners and other customers to make their views known. Formal complaints should be made in writing, but initially verbal complaints will be acceptable in the interests of speed and accessibility. The College will investigate each complaint and make the result of any investigation known to the complainant.

Learning Centres
Each of our campuses has a vibrant and well designed Learning Centre which provides support, equipment and resources for independent study, group and project work.
 
Campus Services

The staff in Campus Services provide a clear point of contact for learners, and help them by giving impartial help, advice and guidance. You will find the Campus Services office near the reception area of each campus. In particular staff in the Campus services office can help with queries regarding enrolment on courses, fees, college transport, grants and other financial help.

 
Learner Welfare Service

This service provides help and advice with personal and practical problems needing immediate action, such as State benefits, financial matters, personal problems, health problems and legal issues. Most campuses have a welfare officer who can usually be contacted in the learner common room or at Campus Services.

 
Canteen/Refectory facilities

There are modern Canteen/Refectory facilities at all Coleg Morgannwg Campuses that offer a great range of food and drinks from a variety of breakfasts, hot meals, baguettes and a salad bar to vending machines offering a variety of snacks and drinks.

 
Support for Learners with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities

The college is proud of its achievements in this area and welcomes learners with disabilities. These can include physical disabilities, sensory impairments, medical conditions and/or learning difficulties, such as dyslexia. If you feel you require any type of support, then let us know your needs and we will ensure that you receive the support, advice and guidance to aid in your studies.
